What to Expect on This Day Tour to Cairo from Hurghada

Your journey begins with a short domestic flight to Cairo, where you'll dive straight into history with a guided tour of the legendary Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Home to thousands of priceless pharaonic treasures – including the world-renowned Golden Mask of Tutankhamun – this museum offers a breathtaking introduction to ancient Egyptian civilization. After your museum visit, you'll enjoy a relaxing cruise on the Nile River, a peaceful break amid the city’s energy (optional and available for a small extra fee). You will also visit a papyrus institute, where you'll learn how the ancient Egyptians made the first paper, and explore a traditional Egyptian perfumery offering natural oils and pharaonic-inspired fragrances. Then, it’s time for a delicious Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant in Giza. (Please note: drinks are not included.)

The Pyramids & the Great Sphinx

In the afternoon, you'll head to the Giza Plateau, home to the last remaining Wonder of the Ancient World – the Pyramids of Cheops (Khufu), Chephren (Khafre), and Mykerinos (Menkaure) – as well as the awe-inspiring Great Sphinx. Access to the Pyramids and Sphinx area is INCLUDED in the tour price. However, entry inside the pyramids is not included – this is an optional experience available for an additional fee, payable on-site. If you'd like to explore the interior of a pyramid, simply speak to your guide, who will assist you with purchasing the ticket according to the official price list.
